General and Hours

  • What are the club’s hours of operation on weekdays and weekends? Homepage

  • Are holiday hours different from regular hours? How will they be announced? Yes, there will be signage at the club announcing holiday hours as well as notification on the website and social media

  • Where is the club located, and is there on-site parking? 1330 Brookside Drive with on-site parking

Memberships and Billing

  • What membership types do you offer (Fitness, Pickleball, Tennis, Dual Sport), and what’s included in each? Membership

  • Do you offer short-term or day passes? If so, how do I get one? Short term passes are available at the front desk for fitness only

  • How does billing work (billing cycle dates, auto-pay timing)? Payments are processed via electronic fund transfer on the 3rd of each month. A valid banking account or credit card must be on file.

  • What is your cancellation policy, and how do I submit a 30-day written notice? We request that you submit a written notice of the cancelation of your membership one month prior to your desired cancellation date.

  • Are there initiation fees or reactivation fees? Yes, we have enrollment fees. Please contact coral@hoodriverathelticclub for information about exact costs.

  • Can I switch membership types later? Yes, you may switch memberships. If you go from a fitness membership to tennis/pickleball/dual sport, an enrollment fee for that upper level membership will be assessed.

Access, App, and New Members

  • Do I need the HRAC app? What can I do with it (check-in, class booking, court reservations)? New Members Page

  • How do new members get oriented to the club’s facilities and programs? New Members Page

  • Do you post updates on Instagram/Facebook, and where can I follow? Yes. We are very active on Instagram and Facebook under Hood River Athletic Club

Fitness Facilities and Classes

  • What fitness areas are available (cardio, functional training, Olympic lifting, weight room, cycle studio, Peak studio for Personal Training, basketball)? All of the mentioned modalities are available

  • What Fitness classes do you offer (Pilates, Yoga, Senior Build, AMplify, Grit & Grind, StrengthFUSION)? GroupEX

  • How do I view schedules and sign up for a class? Is there a no-show or late-cancel policy? GroupEX Be sure to use the APP as it will allow you to sign up and provide the daily scheduled classes.

  • Are classes included in my membership or is there an extra fee? Classes are included. No extra fee

  • Do you provide beginner-friendly options or modifications in classes? Our classes are all able to be modified for the participants level. Our instructors watch that carefully and offer alternative movements.

Personal Training and Peak Training

  • How do I book a personal training session, and what are the rates? Personal Training

  • What is Peak Training (small group personal training), how many people per session, and how do I join? Peak Training

Tennis

  • How many indoor tennis courts are available, and how do I reserve one? We have 3 indoor courts. You can easily reserve a court on the APP or the Member Portal or call 541-386-3230

  • What’s included with a Tennis membership (team drills, private lessons)? Tennis

  • Do you offer adult and junior tennis programs? How do I enroll? Tennis & Junior Tennis

Pickleball

  • How many indoor pickleball courts do you have, and how do I reserve court time? Pickleball You can reserve on the APP, Member Portal or call 541-386-3230.

  • What’s included with a Pickleball membership (drills, open play, level play)? Pickleball

  • When are open play times, and how is skill level managed? Pickleball

Childcare and Family

  • Do you offer childcare or kids’ club services? What are the hours and policies? Childcare

  • Are there family or household membership options? Yes. Reach out to Coral to determine which membership would be right for you and your family.

Amenities and On-site Offerings

  • What is Opus 3, and what are its hours and offerings? Opus 3 is a beer and wine cafe offering sports viewing and pizza for those who are hungry . Hours: Noon to closing.

  • Do you have locker rooms, showers, or towel service? We have locker rooms and showers and provide towels for workouts. Please bring your own towel for showering.

  • Is there a basketball court and how is it scheduled? Yes. We have a posted schedule in the pavillion. It is open for basketball most afternoons.
